NPR had a story the other day on excessive spot use, but didn't mention this specific Grand Canyon incident, I think the story posted a day or two later, so it was too late to know about it or include it...
I feel like this will forever be the archetype, I mean, I have a decent imagination, yet I struggle to think of any way it could have been more perfectly ridiculous...
